Rising Tide LLC (“Rising Tide Explorers,””Rising Tide,” “we,” “us,” or “our”) respects your privacy. This Privacy Policy explains how we collect, use, share, and protect information when you visit our website, book a trip, sign a digital waiver, or otherwise interact with us.

Information you provide directly:

  • Name, email address, and phone number when you book a trip, sign a waiver, subscribe to SMS, or contact us
  • Billing and payment information (processed by our booking provider, FareHarbor, and not stored on our servers)
  • Waiver information (processed by our waiver provider, Wherewolf), which may include date of birth, emergency contact, medical or physical fitness disclosures, and signature
  • Any information you voluntarily provide by email, SMS, or a form on our site

Information collected automatically:

  • IP address, browser type and version, device type, operating system, referring URL, and pages viewed
  • Cookies, pixel tags, and similar technologies (see Section 5)

Information from third parties:

  • Booking, contact, and trip data from FareHarbor
  • Waiver and guest data from Wherewolf
  • Aggregated analytics data from providers such as Google Analytics

2. How We Use Your Information

We use the information we collect to:

  • Process, confirm, and manage your reservation
  • Send trip reminders, weather or schedule updates, and post-trip review requests
  • Send promotional communications (only if you have opted in)

3. How We Share Your Information

We do not sell or rent your personal information. We share information only with:

  • Service providers who help us operate our business (booking, waiver, SMS delivery, email, analytics, payment processing)
  • Legal authorities when required by law, subpoena, or to protect our rights, property, or safety
  • Business transfers, in the event of a merger, acquisition, or sale of assets

We do not share your mobile phone number or SMS opt-in information with any third party for their own marketing purposes.

4. Interest-Based Advertising

We allow third-party advertising partners to collect non-personally identifiable information (cookies, pixels, browser type, timestamps, ads viewed or clicked) when you visit our site to serve you interest-based advertisements. Our services are not directed to children under 13. We do not knowingly collect personal information from children under 13. Minors participating in a trip may have information collected via a parent- or guardian-signed waiver.

  • Opt out of the sale or sharing of personal information (we do not sell personal information)
  • Opt out of targeted advertising
  • Withdraw consent for SMS or email marketing at any time

Our services are directed to U.S. residents. If you access our site from outside the U.S., your information will be transferred to and processed in the U.S., which may have different data-protection standards than your country.
