SMS Terms of Service

These SMS Terms of Service (“SMS Terms”) govern your receipt of text messages from Rising Tide Explorers (“we,” “us,” “our”). By providing your mobile phone number to us — through a booking, digital waiver, or opt-in form — you agree to these SMS Terms.

Program Description

Rising Tide Explorers sends SMS messages for two purposes:

1. Transactional messages related to a specific reservation: trip reminders, meeting-point directions, schedule or weather updates, and post-trip review requests.
2. Promotional messages (only if you opt in on our booking or waiver form): upcoming tour offers, seasonal availability, and news from Rising Tide Explorers.

Consent

By providing your mobile phone number when booking a trip or completing a digital waiver, you consent to receive transactional SMS messages related to that reservation. Consent to receive promotional messages is separate and given by checking the SMS marketing opt-in box on our booking or waiver form.

Consent to receive promotional messages is not a condition of booking any trip or purchasing any service.

Message Frequency

Message frequency varies. You may receive one to several messages per reservation (typically a reminder before your trip and a review request after). Promotional message frequency does not exceed four messages per month.

Message and Data Rates

Message and data rates may apply. Rising Tide Explorers does not charge for SMS messages, but your mobile carrier may. Check with your carrier for details.

Opt-Out

You can opt out of SMS messages at any time by replying STOP to any message you receive from us. You will receive a confirmation that you have been unsubscribed. To resubscribe, reply START.

Supported Carriers

SMS messages are supported on major U.S. mobile carriers. Carriers are not liable for delayed or undelivered messages.

Privacy

Your mobile phone number and SMS opt-in information are handled in accordance with our Privacy Policy. We do not share, sell, or rent your mobile number or opt-in information to third parties for their own marketing purposes.

Changes to These Terms

We may update these SMS Terms at any time. Material changes will be posted on this page with an updated effective date.
