Get ready for your Boat Tour with the biologist captains of Rising Tide Explorers!
Here is some information to prepare for your adventure.
Departure Information
We depart from the Rookery Bay Field Station on Shell Island Road, just minutes from Marco Island and Naples.
Proceed down Shell Island Road, and continue 1.5 miles past Briggs Boardwalk until you see a building and a brown sign the reads ‘Rookery Bay Field Station’ and ‘ Boat Tours Meet Here’. Pull into the second gravel parking lot just after those signs at the foot of the building and take a seat at the picnic tables located next to the sidewalk. Your Captain will be down to greet you in the designated Boat Tour parking area!
- Time: Launch Times are daily at 9:00AM, 1:00PM, and Sunset
- *Summer Hours = 9AM ONLY (May – October)
- Group Size: Maximum 6 guests (call for larger parties)
- What to Bring: Water, Snacks, Sun Protection, Binoculars
- Cancellation & Rescheduling
- You may voluntarily reschedule or cancel your tour 48 hours prior to departure at no charge
